Whitehouse Studio
Whitehouse Studio is in Bilston, on the edge of the Pentland Hills. It's about seven miles from Edinburgh city centre. It's a detached studio property, so everything is on one floor, except the bedrooms.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms upstairs and two bathrooms, one en-suite. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's modern and comfortable. The main living area is open plan with doors out to a private garden.
You're right on the edge of the Pentland Hills for walking or mountain biking. Roslin Chapel is very close, it's famous for its carvings. The Hillend dry ski slope is a few miles away if you fancy that.
For Edinburgh, there's a bus stop five minutes walk away, or you can drive to Straiton Park and Ride. The bus takes about half an hour into Princes Street. During the Festival in August, it's a straightforward way to get in and out.
You can get to a lot of places from here within an hour or so, like Glasgow, Stirling, St Andrews, or the Borders. The coast at North Berwick is about a 45 minute drive.
It's got parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed.
