Roslin Chapel Cottage Roslin

Roslin Chapel Cottage is in the village of Roslin, just south of Edinburgh. It's about a seven mile drive into the city centre, or you can get a bus from the end of the lane. The cottage is stone-built and sleeps four.

There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom is on the ground floor with patio doors to the garden. The other is upstairs and has a bath en suite. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after and comfortable. It's not huge, but it's fine for four people. The stairs are a typical cottage staircase, so they turn a bit and are a bit steeper than a normal house.

You've got a small private garden with a patio and a BBQ. There's parking for one car on the drive. It says pets are allowed, but please check with us first as there's a limit.

The famous Rosslyn Chapel is literally a two minute walk up the road. It's worth a visit, you can book tickets on their website. There's a couple of pubs in the village, they do food.

For walking, the Pentland Hills are right on your doorstep. Good for a proper hike or a gentler stroll. There's a dry ski slope and an indoor surfing place about a fifteen minute drive away, at Midlothian Snowsports and The Shore.

Edinburgh is obviously the main draw. You can drive in, but parking is tricky. The bus is reliable and takes you right to the centre. All the usual city things are there: the Castle, the Royal Mile, galleries, shops.

Inside, it's got what you need: WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
