This is the Beinn Uidhe studio apartment in Inchnadamph. It's part of the lodge here, but it's a self-contained flat. It's for two people, one room. It has a 4 Star rating.
The layout is open-plan. There's a bed, a small sofa and chairs, a kitchenette with a table, and a shower room. It's got heating, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included, and we can provide a cot. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
You'll see red deer in the garden, often in the morning. We also get golden eagles overhead occasionally. The view from the window is of the mountains and Loch Assynt.
For walking, you're right in it. Ben More Assynt and Conival are right there if you're after Munros. The Walkhighlands Assynt page has good route details. The Bone Caves are a short walk away, which are interesting. Ardvreck Castle ruins are on the loch shore, about a five minute drive.
The village of Lochinver is about a 15 minute drive. It has a shop, a couple of places to eat, and a famous pie shop. Kylesku Bridge is roughly 20 minutes north by car. Ullapool is just under an hour's drive if you need a bigger supermarket or the ferry to the Isles.
It's quiet here. That's the main thing. Useful links for planning: VisitScotland Outdoors and NatureScot on Inchnadamph NNR.
