Riverside is in Inchnadamph, up in the northwest Highlands. It's at the end of a rough track, so you’re on your own out here. The views are of the river and the hills. It's quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. We did it up a few years ago so it's in good shape. It's a 4 Star, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's an open plan living area with a wood burner. You get Wi-Fi and Netflix if you want them.
The garden is yours to use. You can sit out there and listen to the river.
The village pub is about 200 yards away. It does food. The nearest shop is in Lochinver, which is about 12 miles. You'd drive there for bigger supplies.
If you like walking, you're in the right place. You can walk straight from the door up into Traligill Glen. The entrances to some big caves are up there. Stac Pollaidh, Canisp, and Suilven are all nearby for bigger walks. For fishing, there are lochs for trout, or you can hire a boat in Lochinver for sea angling.
Knockan Crag is worth a visit to understand the geology. Handa Island is good for birdwatching, with lots of seabirds. You might see otters around here too.
It says two pets are allowed. Bedding is included. There's a washing machine and parking.
