This is Walled Cottage, in Inchnadamph. It's a small, detached stone cottage. You get the whole place and a fully enclosed garden.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's very comfortable and well-equipped. The heating works well and there's a wood-burning stove.
The location is quite remote. It's part of a small group of houses in a valley. You're right in the hills. The road past the house goes to some proper mountains.
You're a few minutes' walk from the Inchnadamph National Nature Reserve. The Bone Caves are there, which are interesting if you like geology or old bones. Loch Assynt is just down the road, with Ardvreck Castle ruins on its shore.
You can see Ben More Assynt and Conival from the cottage. They're serious walks, not casual strolls. For something less steep, there's plenty of good walking straight from the door.
Lochinver is about a 15-minute drive. That's where you'll find the shop, a petrol pump, and the famous pie shop. Ullapool is about 45 minutes away for bigger supermarkets.
Inside, it's got what you need. Washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for a couple of cars. You can bring one dog. They provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
