The Cliff is in Collieston. It's a detached cottage right by the old harbour. The sea is basically at the bottom of the garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with kingsize beds and a view of the water. One bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are a normal flight, not a twisty cottage one.
The outside space is good. There's a patio with a table and chairs, and a hot tub. The hot tub looks out over the harbour. It's private.
Collieston itself is quiet. There's a pub, the Ship Inn, about a three minute walk away. The beach is sandy and just along from the harbour. You'll see people fishing off the pier.
The big thing here is the walking. You're right on the coast path. The Forvie National Nature Reserve is next door. It's all huge sand dunes and birds. The NatureScot page for Forvie has maps.
If you drive, Ellon is about ten minutes away for supermarkets. Aberdeen is half an hour. The ruins of Slains Castle, which inspired Dracula, are at Cruden Bay, about twenty minutes up the coast.
For facilities, it has what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry. There's parking for two cars on the drive.
