Seaton Cottage
Seaton Cottage is an old fisherman's cottage in Collieston. It's right by the beach, literally across the road from the sea. You can see the water from the front windows.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. We've kept a lot of the original features, but it's been restored so everything works. The road down to it is narrow, just to let you know.
It's a detached cottage, so you're not sharing walls. There's an enclosed patio area out the back, which is handy if you have a dog. The front faces the sea.
The village is quiet. There's a beach 200 yards away. For a shop you need to drive about five and a half miles to Ellon. The nearest pub and restaurant are about five miles.
You're well placed for the coast. You can walk for miles. Newburgh is nearby, where you often see seals on the sands. If you like golf, Cruden Bay Golf Club and Trump International are within about ten miles.
Aberdeen is 16 miles south. That's where you'll find bigger shops, cinemas, and things like that.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for chilly evenings, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. All the bedding and towels are included. The entrance and shower are wheelchair accessible.
