Forvie View Collieston

Forvie View is in Collieston, Aberdeenshire. It's not a village really, more a handful of houses around a harbour. Very quiet. The cottage looks out over fields to the sea.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms downstairs, one bathroom. The living room and kitchen are upstairs to get the view. There's a small balcony off the kitchen. You can sit out there.

It's a 4 Star place. Feels modern and clean. The stairs are fine. One dog is allowed.

Collieston has a little sandy beach by the pier. There's a shop about five minutes walk away that does ice cream. The pub is also about five minutes away.

The main thing here is the walk to Hackley Bay. It's a cliff path, about twenty minutes. The beach is in the middle of the Forvie National Nature Reserve. It's a proper sand dune system. You often see seals at the mouth of the Ythan estuary at Newburgh, which is ten minutes in the car.

Golf courses at Cruden Bay and Newburgh are nearby. Aberdeen is about half an hour if you need shops or a cinema.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. Parking is right outside.
