Valley View Thorpe Thewles

Valley View is in Thorpe Thewles, which is a village a bit outside Stockton. It's a one bed cottage, sleeps two. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The main thing is the view out the back. The garden sits up high and looks straight out over a valley. It's all trees and fields. You get that to yourself. There's a hot tub there.

Inside, it's for two people. One bedroom with a kingsize bed. One bathroom with a walk-in shower. There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen's small but it has what you need. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher too.

The local pub is about a hundred yards away. They do food. The coast is about nine or ten miles if you fancy a trip to the beach.

If you want to go out, Wynyard Woodland Park is good for a walk. Durham is about half an hour's drive. The cathedral and castle are worth seeing. For more local walks and sites, the National Trust for the North East has details.

You can bring one dog. There's parking right by the cottage. All the bedding and towels are included.
