Wavecrest is in Staffin, on the Isle of Skye. It's a detached cottage. The view from the front is directly over Staffin Bay. It's just fields between you and the water.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. There's a patio door from the living room straight out onto the grass.
The village has a shop, a post office, and a petrol station. There's a coffee shop too. Staffin Beach is about a mile away. You can see dinosaur footprints there at low tide.
For walking, the Quiraing is right here. The Old Man of Storr is about a ten minute drive south. Portree is roughly half an hour by car for bigger shops and places to eat.
If you're driving out for the day, the Fairy Pools, Neist Point, and Dunvegan Castle are all within about 45 minutes. The National Trust for Scotland has good information for the area. So does VisitScotland's Skye page.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to three dogs. Plenty of parking right outside.
