Meadow View is near Woodford in Northamptonshire. It's a single-storey cottage, brand new for this year. It's on a farm, so it's just fields out of the windows. You can walk straight out onto the Nene Way path from the gate.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own shower room. Everything is on the ground floor and it's wheelchair accessible. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner in the living area. The kitchen is open plan. We allow one dog.
You're on about 500 acres of private land here, so you can walk around the farm tracks. The River Nene is a short walk away for fishing or messing about in a canoe. There are fishing lakes about five minutes walk down the lane, day tickets are available.
The nearest pubs are in Woodford and Great Addington, you can walk to them along the footpaths. Rushden Lakes is about a ten minute drive if you need shops or a cinema. For a longer walk, Stanwick Lakes is good.
If you like history, there are a lot of big houses within half an hour. Althorp, Castle Ashby, and Rockingham Castle are the main ones. Boughton House is impressive, some people call it the English Versailles.
Facilities: it has parking, an EV charger, a washing machine, a patio with a BBQ, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's bicycle storage if you bring bikes.
