Going Coastal

This is Going Coastal. It's a stone cottage in Inverallochy, near Fraserburgh. It was built as a fisherman's home early last century. You're about a minute's walk from the sea.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's been done up carefully. The woodwork, like the doors, is original. The paint colours are period-correct from a company that supplies film sets.

You've got a woodburning stove for heat. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for dogs. You can bring two.

The local pub is a couple of minutes walk. Inverallochy Golf Club is a five minute walk. Every hole has a sea view. The beach is right there for walking. You can get to Cairnbulg harbour easily.

Fraserburgh is about two miles away. You've got shops, a beach, and the Lighthouse Museum there. The RSPB Loch of Strathbeg nature reserve is a ten minute drive. It's a major site for birdwatching.
