The Beachcomber is a detached cottage in Cairnbulg. It's right by the sea, just across a track from the shore.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's in good nick, recently done up.
The living room is open plan and looks out to the front courtyard. The courtyard is enclosed, which is handy. The place is all on one level, so it's step-free once you're inside.
You can park right outside. It has WiFi, a washing machine, and a cot if you need it. Bedding and towels are included.
The beach is a very short walk away. It's a proper sandy beach, good for a walk. There's a shop a few minutes up the road in the village.
Inverallochy has a golf course where every hole faces the North Sea. It's about a mile away. Fraserburgh is four miles from here. It's a working harbour. You can find more shops there, and they run boat trips from the harbour if you want to look for dolphins.
Further along the coast there's the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses at Kinnaird Head. For a longer day out, Balmoral and the Cairngorms are about an hour and a half's drive inland.
It's a quiet spot. The streetlights are few, so on a clear winter night you might see the Northern Lights.
