This is Cotton Shore, in Inverallochy. It's a detached cottage, used to be a fisherman's home. You can walk to the shore in a minute.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is modern inside, clean and tidy. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking for one car on the drive. Bedding and towels are there for you. You can bring one dog.
The garden at the front is enclosed. It's a patio area, good for sitting out.
The village is quiet. There's a shop and a restaurant about 300 yards away. A pub is 400 yards. The seafront is just down the lane.
Inverallochy has a golf course right next to the dunes. For a longer walk, you can go from the harbour to Whitelinks Bay and back, which is about six kilometres. There's a small museum called Maggie's Hoose on the street that shows what the old cottages were like.
Fraserburgh is close by for bigger shops. For a day out, the RSPB reserve at Loch of Strathbeg is about a fifteen minute drive south. The beach at Fraserburgh is good, or you can drive down the coast. There are a lot of castles inland, like Fraser Castle and Castle Fraser. Aberdeen is about an hour's drive if you want a city.
