Puffin Cottage is in Inverallochy, right on the north east coast. It's a semi-detached house in a row of houses. You have your own enclosed garden. It's a short walk from there down to the beach.
The house sleeps six. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable, but not luxury. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and there's a grab rail by the loo.
The village has a shop and post office, a Chinese takeaway and an ice cream place. There's a bus service if you need it. For a bigger shop, Fraserburgh is about three miles away. It's a proper fishing port with supermarkets, pubs, and a few attractions like the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses.
The beach is good for walking. You can walk along the sand to the outflow of the Loch of Strathbeg and see Rattray Head Lighthouse. Loch of Strathbeg itself is a big RSPB nature reserve, good for birdwatching. There's a visitor centre there.
Other places within about half an hour's drive are Banff and Macduff. Peterhead is a bit closer. There are local golf courses and the coast path for walking.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's space to store bicycles.
