Otterburn 1 Melvaig

Otterburn 1 is a semi-detached cottage in Melvaig. It's up the hill, so you get the view. You can see right out over the Minch to the islands from the conservatory and the bedrooms.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. We've recently put in a new kitchen and bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can bring two. Parking is right there.

Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included.

Melvaig itself is quiet. It's about a 20-minute drive from Gairloch for shops and things. The coastal access is right here if you want to walk or try some local fishing.

You're well placed for exploring. Gairloch is 15 miles one way, and the road north to Poolewe and Ullapool is good. You can get to the Torridon mountains or down to the Beinn Eighe nature reserve in under half an hour. The National Nature Reserves site is useful for that.
