Sycamore Farmhouse is in Little Blakenham. It's a 15th century farmhouse on the edge of a working farm. You'll see Highland cattle in the fields around it. It's detached, so no neighbours on the other side of a wall.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The rating is 4 Star. It's been done up, but it's still an old place. The ceilings are low in parts and the beams are proper old timber. You'll need to mind your head.
The kitchen is big, with a table for everyone. There's a wood burner in the sitting room. Outside, there's a fenced garden. It has a hot tub and a sauna on the patio. There's also a separate deck with a table under a pergola.
The farm sometimes lets guests help groom the cattle. You'd need to ask them about that when you're there.
For things to do: Jimmy's Farm is a popular day out. Baylham Rare Breeds farm is about 15 minutes by car. There's a dry ski slope at Ipswich, which is about a 20 minute drive. The Suffolk coast, like Felixstowe, is under an hour away. For walking, the Suffolk Coast and Heaths area is good. Constable Country around Dedham Vale is a bit further, maybe 45 minutes.
As for facilities: it's got the things you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger. They allow up to three dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
