This is Walnut Cottage in Sproughton. It's the oldest place in the village, from the 14th century. It's been in the family for years. It's a semi-detached cottage right in the middle of the village.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well kept. There's a wood burner in the living room for the colder nights.
The garden at the back is enclosed and gets the sun most of the day. You can sit out there. There's private parking right outside the front gate.
The village shop is about 50 yards away, and the pub, which does food, is about 100 yards. They're both handy.
You're well placed for driving around. The pretty villages like Lavenham and Long Melford are a short drive. The Suffolk coast, places like Aldeburgh or Southwold, are about 30 to 40 minutes by car. Ipswich is close for trains if you want a day in London.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can take up to two dogs.
