Lily Pad 9 is a first-floor apartment in Nassington. It's set around a courtyard with a few other cottages. It's stone-built and looks out over the Nene Valley.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's got everything you need and it's well kept. You can also request a Z-bed for an extra person if you need to, but you have to arrange that with me directly. There's a little sitting-out area with table and chairs. It catches the evening sun.
The main thing is the shared indoor pool. It's a lovely, warm pool room with comfy seats. You book it for an hour at a time so you get it to yourselves. There's a changing room with a shower, and a table tennis and table football area next to it.
It's very flat around here, so the walking is easy. There are footpaths right from the door that go along the River Nene and out into the fields. You can walk to a couple of decent pubs. Oundle and Stamford are nice market towns, about ten and twenty minutes away by car.
If you want a big day out, Rutland Water is about twenty minutes drive. You can walk, cycle, or sail there. Burghley House is near Stamford and has great gardens and a park. For a farm visit, Sacrewell is close. Hamerton Zoo is popular, it's about half an hour away.
Facilities: there's parking right outside. The kitchen is open plan with the living area. It has a dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. I can provide a cot and a highchair if you let me know. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
