Lily Pad 6 is one of the stone cottages here in Nassington, in the Nene Valley. It's part of a group set around a courtyard. Most of them are wheelchair friendly. This one sleeps up to ten people across five bedrooms.
You've got two bathrooms. One is a ground floor wet room with a shower. The other is upstairs with a shower over the bath. Bedrooms four and five have zip and link beds, so you can have them as twins or super kings. The fifth bedroom is a bit different, it's got a double sofa bed and a TV, so it can be a bedroom or a kids' playroom. We can also provide a Z-bed if you need it, just ask when you book, there's a small extra charge for that.
The main living area is open plan. There's a kitchen with a dishwasher, a dining table, and three leather sofas. Outside, there's a deck with a table and chairs. The big draw here is the indoor swimming pool. You book it for your group to use privately. It's got showers, changing rooms, and a table tennis area.
The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's got things like WiFi, on-site parking, a cot, highchair, and stairgate. We allow up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
You can walk straight from the cottage onto the footpaths along the River Nene. They lead out into the countryside and to a couple of local pubs. For a bigger trip, Rutland Water is about twenty minutes away by car. You can walk, cycle, or sail there. Rutland Water has a good website for planning.
Oundle and Stamford are nice market towns to visit. Hamerton Zoo Park is about fifteen miles away, it's popular with families. If you really fancied a coastal day, the Norfolk coast is a drive, but places like Snettisham or Hunstanton are options.
If you've got a bigger group, you can book other cottages here alongside this one. In total, the site can sleep 42.
