Lily Pad 8

Lily Pad 8 is one of the cottages at Lily Pad Courtyard in Nassington. It's a ground floor apartment, which makes it good if stairs are a problem. You get your own bit of garden out the front.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's all on one level with wide doors, so it's suitable for wheelchairs. You can ask for an extra Z-bed if you need it, but you have to sort that with me directly and there's an extra cost.

The shared indoor pool is a big plus. You book it for just your group, so you have it to yourselves. It's got changing rooms, showers, and a table tennis area.

Nassington itself is quiet. There are footpaths right from the doorstep along the River Nene. The village has a pub. Oundle and Stamford are nice for a wander and have markets. Peterborough is about 20 minutes by car if you need a bigger shop or the cinema.

For days out, Rutland Water is close. You can walk, cycle, or sail there. Rutland Water Park has all the details. Sacrewell Farm is good with kids. The coast at Snettisham or Hunstanton is about an hour and a half's drive if you really fancy the sea.

What's here: your own garden, parking right outside, WiFi, a dishwasher, and the swimming pool. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one well-behaved dog. The place is part of a larger courtyard, so other groups might be staying nearby, but it's generally peaceful.
