Lily Pad 4 is a first-floor apartment in a stone cottage near Nassington. It's set around a courtyard with a few other cottages. It's very quiet out here.
It sleeps four properly, in two bedrooms. You can have the beds as a kingsize or twins, just let me know. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well kept. The main living area and kitchen are all in one room. The best bit is the private roof terrace. It gets the sun in the evening and there are no street lights, so the stars are good.
There's a shared indoor pool on site. You book it for an hour at a time, just for your group. It's warm and there's a changing area and a table tennis table next to it.
You're right in the Nene Valley. There are footpaths from the doorstep along the river and into the fields. You can walk to a couple of pubs. Oundle and Stamford are nice market towns nearby. Stamford is particularly good for a wander.
If you want to go a bit further, Rutland Water is about 20 minutes by car. You can walk, cycle, or sail there. Burghley House is close too. For a farm park with Shire Horses, Sacrewell is not far. The coast is over an hour away, towards Hunstanton.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, Wi-Fi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
