This is the Summer House in Radmoor. It's a proper glamping set up, built around a lake. We built it ourselves from larch and fir. It sits right over the water.
It sleeps four. One bedroom with a kingsize bed, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well finished. It's detached, so you've got your own space.
The main room has a high ceiling and windows all round. Glass doors open onto the deck, which wraps around. The bedroom has its own doors out there too. You can sit on the sofa and look straight out at the lake. There's always birds about.
Access is along a gravel path. We can help bring your bags down with a buggy. It's a short walk.
For food, Shawbury is about ten minutes' drive. It's got a supermarket, a bakery, and a farm shop. Shrewsbury is a bit further. It's a good day out, with the castle, the river, and lots of independent shops.
If you like walking, The Wrekin is close by. It's a proper hill with good views. The wider Shropshire Hills area is lovely. Ludlow and Bridgnorth are both within half an hour. Bridgnorth has the Severn Valley Railway. The Ironbridge Gorge world heritage site is also about thirty minutes away.
In terms of what's here, bedding and towels are included. There's parking. There's a shower. We've got a shared BBQ hut with a pizza oven and a bar area that groups can use. You can bring two dogs.
