Manor Farm Cottage
Manor Farm Cottage is ours. It's a detached cottage on the edge of our working farm. It sleeps six across three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is an ensuite to the main bedroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's clean and warm.
You're about a mile from Appleton Wiske village. There's a pub there that does food and local ales. Northallerton is the nearest proper town, about ten minutes by car. They've got shops, supermarkets, and a train station.
The cottage looks out over fields. The garden has a patio with a table and chairs, and a BBQ. There's also a hot tub at the bottom of the garden. The views are across Yorkshire farmland.
Inside, there's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking for a couple of cars right outside.
For things to do, you're well placed. The North York Moors National Park is about half an hour's drive for walks. Places like Helmsley and Rievaulx Abbey are up there. The coast at Saltburn or Whitby is also about thirty minutes away.
If you fancy a day in a city, York or Harrogate are around an hour's drive. The train from Northallerton to York is straightforward if you'd rather not drive.
