Belmont House
Belmont House is in Appleton Wiske. It's a village near Northallerton in North Yorkshire. The house is detached and sits at the end of a lane, so it's quiet.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. The living room has a woodburning stove, which is nice in the colder months.
The garden is enclosed and there's a patio with a barbecue. It's a good spot if you've got kids or a dog. Speaking of dogs, we don't allow pets, sorry.
In the village, there's a shop for basics and a pub. The pub does food. For a bigger shop, Northallerton is about ten minutes away by car. It's a proper market town with a high street.
If you're here to walk, you can start from the door. The countryside around here is flat, good for easy cycling or strolling. For something more structured, the North York Moors are about a half hour drive east. The coast at Saltburn is also around half an hour.
Facilities are what you'd expect: TV, washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
