Rinnes Cottage is on the high street in Aberlour. It's a terraced cottage, next to our place. It sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star, so it's clean and comfortable, not luxurious.
The back door opens right onto the Speyside Way, literally about fifty yards from your door. That's the main walking and cycling path that follows the river. For a shorter walk, Linn Falls is nice. You're on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park, so there's plenty of scenery.
Aberlour itself has a shop, a couple of pubs, and places to eat within a few minutes' walk. The Walkers Shortbread factory shop is here if you want some biscuits.
You're in the middle of Speyside, so whisky distilleries are all around. You can drive to a good few of them quite easily. Fishing on the Spey can be arranged locally if you're into that. There are also golf courses nearby.
For a bigger town, Elgin is about fifteen miles away. Aviemore is under an hour's drive if you're heading into the Cairngorms proper. The coast is about twenty-one miles if you fancy the beach.
At the cottage you've got a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and all your bedding and towels are included. There's parking. No pets, sorry.
