Rinnes Cottage

Rinnes Cottage is on the high street in Aberlour. It's a one-bedroom terraced place, sleeps two. You're right next to the owner's house but you've got your own front door.

It's a 3 Star place so it's clean and has what you need, but it's not fancy. The bathroom is downstairs. The bedroom is a decent size with a double bed.

You're about fifty yards from the Speyside Way path. You can walk for miles along the river from there. Linn Falls is a good shorter walk. You're on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park so there's walking and cycling everywhere. If you ski, the Lecht and Cairngorm slopes are about an hour away.

Aberlour itself has a shop, a couple of pubs and places to eat, all a few minutes' walk. The Walkers shortbread factory shop is here if you want that. The main reason people come here is for the whisky. You're right in the middle of the Malt Whisky Trail. There are distilleries everywhere, some you can walk to.

You can arrange salmon fishing on the Spey if that's your thing. There are golf courses around too. Elgin is about twenty minutes by car if you need a bigger town. The coast at Lossiemouth is about half an hour.

It's got a washing machine, TV, wifi, and all the bedding and towels. Parking is on the street outside. No pets.
