Spey Cottage
Spey Cottage is in the middle of Aberlour, on the high street. It's a terraced house, attached to another cottage. You have the place to yourself, but we're nearby if you need anything.
It's a small cottage for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. Everything is on the ground floor, which is handy.
You're right on the Speyside Way. The path starts about 50 yards from the front door. You can walk for miles along the river. For a shorter walk, the Linn Falls are nice.
Aberlour is good for whisky. There are a few distilleries you can drive to. The Walkers Shortbread factory shop is here too. There's a shop, a couple of pubs, and some places to eat all within a few minutes' walk.
The cottage is on the edge of the Cairngorms. Aviemore is about 45 minutes away if you want to go up into the mountains. In winter, you can drive to the Lecht or Cairngorm for skiing. Elgin is about 15 miles for bigger shops.
There's a small patio garden at the back. Parking is on site, off the street. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. It has a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.
