Haugh House

Haugh House is in Charlestown of Aberlour, on Speyside. It's a detached house on a small private estate, so it's quiet. Sleeps ten, five bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The main thing is the back garden. It leads straight out onto a path along the River Spey. It's a proper riverside walk, right there. That path is part of the Speyside Way, so you can walk into the village or further out without going on the road.

The village centre is about five minutes walk. There's a shop, pubs, and places to eat within 100 yards. Aberlour's good for that. You've got lots of distilleries around here if you're following the Whisky Trail.

For a day out, the Moray coast is about a 40 minute drive. Beaches like Lossiemouth. Culloden Battlefield is just over half an hour away. Elgin with its cathedral is about 20 minutes. If you like walking, the Cairngorms National Park starts not far south of here.

In the house: there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed. We accept up to two dogs. There's a cot and a stairgate if you need them.
