Keepers Cottage
Keepers Cottage is in Little Garway, near Garway Hill. It's detached, on our farm. The views from the back are good, over our fields and the hills.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a farmhouse, so the rooms are decent sized. The conservatory at the back is a good spot to sit.
You're on a working farm, so you'll see sheep and maybe hear a tractor. The garden is enclosed. There's a patio with a private hot tub and a BBQ. There's a wood burner in the living room.
You can walk straight out onto the lanes and footpaths. There's about 200 acres of common land nearby for walking. For a proper wander, Garway Hill is right there.
Hereford is about 20 minutes by car. Hay-on-Wye is maybe 40 minutes. Ross-on-Wye and Abergavenny are both about half an hour's drive. Monmouth is a bit further. They all have shops and places to eat.
For things to see, Goodrich Castle is worth a visit. Canoeing on the Wye is popular. Symonds Yat is good for a view and a walk.
Facilities wise: it's all there. Wifi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. We can provide a cot and a stairgate. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
The local pub is two miles away in Garway. It does food.
