South Riccalton Farm Cottage is on our working farm in Edgerston. It's detached, so you're on your own. You get a private garden and patio that looks out over the fields.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one shower room. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well kept and comfortable. The bed’s a good size and can be two singles or a super king, you just need to let us know which you want before you arrive.
The cottage has a wood burner. There’s a hot tub outside. The Wi-Fi works fine, but phone signal can be patchy down here. We’ve got bicycle storage if you bring bikes.
You’re in the middle of the countryside. It’s very quiet. Jedburgh is about a fifteen minute drive for shops, cafes, and the abbey. Hawick is maybe twenty-five minutes, Kelso about half an hour.
For walking, you’re right on the edge of the Cheviot Hills. The Pennine Way isn't far. For fishing or riding, there are local beats and stables we can point you to. There are several golf courses within a half hour drive, like the one at Jedburgh.
Facilities: Washing machine, TV, bedding and towels included, parking right outside. No pets, I'm afraid. We can provide a cot if you need one.
