The Piggery is one of three cottages here at Corkhill Farm. It used to be an outbuilding for the pigs, hence the name. It's been done up fairly recently, so it's clean and modern inside.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's underfloor heating downstairs. The open plan living area has a woodburner too, which we keep stocked for you.
You've got your own small patio with a table. The main garden area is shared with the other two cottages, but there's plenty of space. The views from here are nice, just fields and trees.
It's a working farm, so you'll see sheep in the fields. The dogs live on the main farmhouse, so they won't bother you.
Southwell is about a mile away. You can walk it in 20-25 minutes. There's a decent Co-op supermarket and some nice independent shops. The Minster is worth a look.
There's a good pub in Maythorne village, and a couple of others a short drive away.
Sherwood Forest and the National Trust site there is about a 15-minute drive. Clumber Park is maybe 25 minutes. Newark-on-Trent is 20 minutes for the castle and antiques. Nottingham city centre is about a 40-minute drive if you're after shopping or a night out.
Facilities wise, you've got WiFi, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and parking right outside. All bedding and towels are provided. The property is wheelchair accessible at the entrance and has a wet room shower.
