The Goat Shed is near Hadlow in Kent. It used to be a goat shed, obviously. Now it's a house. It's detached and right out in the countryside, so it's very quiet. No streetlights, no pavements. Just fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been finished to a high standard. Everything is on one level and it's fully accessible, with wide doors, ramps, and grab rails in the main bathroom. That bathroom is a large wet room.
The living space is all open plan. Big sliding doors look straight out over the fields. There's a wood burner for cooler nights. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a double oven. The utility room has a washing machine.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden with a table and chairs. It's safe for dogs, we take up to two. There's also a BBQ and parking right outside.
Hadlow village is a couple of miles away. It's got a couple of pubs and shops. Tonbridge is about ten minutes by car. There's a castle there and the river. If you need the train, Tonbridge station gets you to London in under 45 minutes, or down to the coast at Hastings.
There are lots of walks and cycles routes straight from the door. For gardens, Broadview Gardens at Hadlow College are nearby. For a day out, National Trust places like Sissinghurst or Knole are within half an hour. English Heritage has sites like Dover Castle not too far either.
What's here: all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. WiFi, TV, bike storage. You don't need to pay extra for electric.
