Castlegate
This is Castlegate. It's an apartment on the upper floor of a building in Lanark town centre. The entrance is private, off a quiet street.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms. One is a double. The other has a single day bed with a pull-out underneath, so it can be set up as twins or another double. There's one modern shower room.
The living space is open plan: kitchen, dining area for four, and sitting room. It's been updated. There's a washing machine. Everything works. It's clean and comfortable.
You're right in the middle of town. The train station is a short walk away. You can get trains to Glasgow or Edinburgh from there. A pub and restaurants are about a hundred yards away.
New Lanark World Heritage Site is the big local attraction. It's a short walk down the hill. Well worth a visit. The Clyde Valley around here is nice for drives. You'll find golf, fishing, and horse riding nearby if that's your thing.
Bedding and towels are included. There's wifi and a TV. No pets, I'm afraid.
