An T'abhall

An T'abhall is a cottage in Camas Inas on the Ardnamurchan peninsula. It's detached, all on one level, but there are five steps up to the front door. It looks out over Loch Sunart, about 200 yards away. You get a view of the loch and the hills from the garden.

It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, or it can be set up as twins if you'd prefer. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been renovated, so it's warm and comfortable with central heating and double glazing. There's also an open fire and we provide logs.

You can bring one dog. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. The wi-fi works.

The rocky beach and our own mooring are a minute's walk away. You often see dolphins and otters from the shore. There's a garage here for storing kayaks, paddle boards, or bikes.

The local area is very quiet. There's a post office and a couple of small shops nearby. A fish van comes every Tuesday with fresh langoustine and lobster. You can get venison and local vegetables too. We leave you a welcome hamper with basics like milk, bread, and eggs when you arrive.

For days out, you can drive to local pubs and restaurants, some are award-winning. The Ardnamurchan Distillery is down the peninsula. You can take the ferry from Kilchoan over to Mull to visit Tobermory. Glen Coe and Ben Nevis are within an hour's drive for walking or skiing. Castle Tioram is a beautiful ruin to visit.
