Chase Heys Cottage

Chase Heys Cottage is in Churchtown, which is part of Southport. It's a terrace cottage, one of two that have been done up. They're next to each other but you get your own space.

It sleeps three people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom with a walk-in shower. Everything's on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.

There's a small enclosed courtyard garden out the back. It gets the sun in the afternoon. Good spot for a coffee. Parking is on site, right outside.

You've got a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi works fine. You can bring one dog.

Churchtown village is a five-minute walk. There's a couple of pubs that do food, a few shops and cafes. It's quiet.

To get to the beach and the seafront, it's about a thirty minute walk or a few minutes in the car. Southport town centre is a short drive. That's where Lord Street is, with all the shops and restaurants.

If you're here for the golf, Royal Birkdale is very close. Formby is about a twenty minute drive down the coast. You can see the red squirrels there and walk through the pine woods to the beach. The National Trust Formby page has the details.

Liverpool is about an hour's drive if you want a day in the city. Chester and Manchester are a bit further, maybe an hour and a half.
