Sunnyside Cottage
This is Sunnyside Cottage. It's one of two terraced cottages we've done up in Churchtown. That's a village on the edge of Southport. It's quiet.
The cottage is all on one floor. It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. There's a wood burning stove in the living room. The kitchen has what you need.
Outside is a small courtyard garden. It's enclosed, so it's fine for a dog. We allow one well-behaved pet.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
You're in the village here. There are a few local shops, cafes, and a pub within a short walk. Southport town centre is a drive away. Lord Street is the main strip for shops and restaurants. The beach is about a 30 minute walk from the cottage.
If you're into golf, Royal Birkdale is nearby. For a walk, the coast and the sand dunes are good. Formby is about half an hour's drive if you want to see the red squirrel reserve.
Liverpool is roughly an hour by car. Chester, Manchester, and Preston are all within about an hour's drive too.
Facilities: there's WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the street outside.
