Sycamore Lodge is one of four timber lodges on our smallholding at Chittoe Heath. It's detached, so you've got your own space. The lodge sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, which means it's clean, comfortable and everything works, but it's not luxury.
The main room is open plan, lounge, kitchen and dining area together. It's good for families or a group of friends. The garden is enclosed, which is useful if you have dogs or children. There's parking right outside.
You're on the edge of about 12 acres of private woodland. You're welcome to walk through it. There are chickens about, and sometimes you can collect eggs for breakfast. You'll see horses in the fields from the window. The view looks out towards the Round Way Hills.
For things to do, you're well placed. Devizes, Melksham, Calne and Chippenham are all within easy reach for shops. Avebury is about a 20 minute drive. It's a proper stone circle you can walk right up to. Stonehenge is maybe half an hour. Bath is also around 30 minutes away if you fancy the city.
In terms of what's here, the lodge has a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
