The Stables is on Boot Street in Great Bealings, Suffolk. It's a one bedroom place, sleeps two. It's a converted stable block so it's a single storey flat, which makes things easy. You get the patio and a bit of garden to yourselves, with a table and a BBQ. It looks out over the fields.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after. Everything's included: bedding, towels, WiFi, parking. There's a washing machine. It's open plan, so the kitchen, dining and sitting area are all in one room. The bedroom's a decent size.
You're on the edge of the village here, so it's quiet. Being rural, you get a lot of wildlife. I've seen deer, hares, and lots of birds of prey from the garden.
The local pub is about two miles away, so you'll want to drive. Woodbridge is the nearest proper town, about ten minutes by car. It's on the River Deben. You can get boat trips from there. The Sutton Hoo burial site is very close, which is worth a visit.
If you want the coast, it's about a 25 minute drive. Places like Aldeburgh or Orford are good for a day out. The Suffolk Coast & Heaths area has a lot of good walking paths. There's local fishing if that's your thing, and a few golf courses within a half hour drive.
We allow one well-behaved dog. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them, and there's a stairgate for the one step into the bedroom.
