Quayside Cottage is in Waldringfield, right on the River Deben. It's a one-bedroom place, so it's just for one or two people. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the river. It changes all the time with the tide and the light.
It's all on one level inside, which is useful. There's a patio garden at the front to sit out. The bathroom has a shower and some grab rails fitted. Everything's included, bedding, towels, WiFi. There's parking on site and a washing machine. A cot is there if you need one.
The cottage is right on the Suffolk Coastal Path, so you can walk straight from the door. You're also on our own bit of quay. At high tide, you can launch kayaks or paddleboards from there. People fish from it too.
There's a pub about 200 yards away. It does food all day and a takeaway service. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Martlesham Heath, which is about ten minutes.
Woodbridge is a short drive away. It's a nice market town with shops and a tide mill. For the coast, Aldeburgh and Orford are within about half an hour. RSPB Minsmere is also about a 30-minute drive. So is Framlingham Castle. Snape Maltings for concerts is roughly the same. Waldringfield itself has a little beach with a swimming area.
