Buryemwick
Buryemwick is an old stone cottage on Jack Hill. It looks out over the Washburn Valley and Swinsty Reservoir. The view is good, no other houses in the way.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. One of the bedrooms is downstairs. There are steep steps outside to the front door, and the cottage stairs inside are the usual sort, a bit steep and winding.
It's been done up inside. The kitchen is big. There's a games room with a bar billiards table and a dartboard. Outside, there's a patio with a hot tub, a barbecue, and some decking. You can bring two dogs. There's an outside tap for washing them off, and lockable storage for bikes.
For local walks, you're right in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The reservoir paths are on the doorstep. Brimham Rocks is about twenty minutes by car. Fountains Abbey
The closest town is Otley, about seven miles. It has supermarkets. Harrogate is nine miles away, with its Turkish Baths and Bettys. Ilkley is about twelve miles. Things here: bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, wood burner, WiFi, and parking. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's an electric vehicle charger. It's a detached house, so no neighbours attached.
