Clarion Lodge Cottage Ilkley

Clarion Lodge Cottage is in Menston, which is on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. It's a detached house that sleeps up to thirteen people. There are six bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have their own shower. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The place was done up a while ago. It's big and comfortable, but it's not overly fancy. The stairs are fine. The kitchen has a large island and there's a separate dining room. The main living room has a wood burner. The games room has a pool table, a big sofa, and a TV. It's a good spot if some of the group want to do their own thing.

Outside, there's a patio and a lawned garden with furniture and a barbecue. It's enclosed. You can park on the drive.

Facilities are what you'd expect: wifi, dishwasher, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The property is sometimes decorated for Christmas. You can bring up to four dogs.

There's a country pub about 500 yards away in the village. For shops and more places to eat, Otley and Ilkley are nearby market towns.

You're right next to good walking country. It's about a 20 minute drive to Bolton Abbey, which has a lot of open space to explore. Skipton, with its castle and market, is also about 20 minutes away. Harewood House is 15 minutes drive. If you want to go into the city, Leeds centre is about 20 minutes by train from Menston station.
