The Granary
The Granary is a big converted farm building on our place near Adbaston. It's on a small working farm, so you'll see sheep and cows in the fields. It's one of five cottages around a courtyard, but you get your own bit.
It sleeps 14 people, which is a lot. Seven bedrooms and five bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which honestly means it's comfortable and everything works, not that it's posh. It's clean and well looked after.
Because it's a conversion, the ceilings upstairs are high in some rooms, but lower in others where the original roof beams are. Just a heads up if you're tall.
There's a courtyard garden with a barbecue. You're welcome to wander around the farm to see the animals. There's a little wooded bit by a stream if you fancy a picnic. Fishing is available on one of the ponds.
The nearest shops are about six miles away in Eccleshall, so you'll want to bring supplies with you.
For things to do: Alton Towers is about a 25-minute drive. The Ironbridge Gorge museums are roughly half an hour away. Shrewsbury is a nice town, also about 30 minutes. Cosford Aerospace Museum is within that range too. If you like walking, the Shropshire Union Canal is close by for a flat stroll. There's a golf course and places for horse riding nearby.
What's here: all the bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi, TVs, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and parking right outside. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
