The Granary
The Granary is a big barn we converted, out on our farm in Adbaston. It sits in a courtyard with a few other cottages. The main thing is it sleeps fourteen, which makes it good for big families or a group of friends.
There are seven bedrooms and five bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, so everything's in good order and it's well equipped. You get all your bedding and towels.
It's a working farm. You're free to walk around and see the animals. There's a bit of woodland with a stream you can picnic by. If you've brought kids, they usually like that.
The place has a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and a BBQ in the courtyard. Plenty of parking right outside.
You're out in the countryside here. The shop is about six miles away, so you'll want to drive. It's quiet. Good for walks or cycling on the lanes.
If you want to go out, you've got a few options within half an hour. The Shugborough Estate is good for a walk. Stafford is about twenty minutes. Alton Towers is roughly twenty-five miles if that's your sort of thing. For a day out further afield, you've got the Ironbridge Gorge museums or Shrewsbury.
No pets allowed, I'm afraid. And we don't take single sex groups under twenty-five.
