The Old Brewhouse is on our farm in Adbaston. I'm here most days. It's a proper old farm building we converted. We've got cows and sheep in the fields around. You'll see them from the windows.
It sleeps nine. That's three bedrooms but they're big, with bunk beds and doubles. Two bathrooms, one upstairs, one down. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, not a show home. The doors are low in places, you'll need to mind your head.
You get your own patio with a table and a BBQ. The courtyard is shared with the other cottages, but it's usually quiet. You're welcome to walk around the farm, see the animals. There's a little stream in the woods at the bottom of the field if you fancy a paddle.
The nearest shop is in Eccleshall, about six miles. There's a couple of good pubs closer, like the Knightley Arms in Sutton, about three miles. They do food.
If you're looking for things to do, you're fairly central. The big one is Alton Towers, about half an hour's drive. For a quieter day, the Ironbridge Gorge Museums are interesting, or you can walk along the Shropshire Union Canal. Shrewsbury is a nice town for a wander, that's about 25 minutes.
What's here: WiFi, TV, washing machine. Bedding is included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. There's bike storage and plenty of parking. No pets, sorry. It's a working farm, so there's sometimes tractor noise during the day, but it's quiet at night.
A couple of links if you're planning: Visit Staffordshire and the National Trust for places like Biddulph Grange.
