The Forge Adbaston

The Forge is on our farm in Adbaston. It's one of five cottages we've done up from the old farm buildings. They're in a bit of a courtyard. You get a patio area out the front with a barbecue.

It sleeps five with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and we keep it clean. The stairs are original, so they're a bit steep and winding. There's a stairgate at the bottom.

You're welcome to walk around the farm to see the animals. We've got a wooded bit by the stream you can picnic in. We've also got coarse fishing on the farm if that's your thing.

Location wise, it's quiet. The nearest shop is about six miles away in Eccleshall. There are a couple of pubs in the village, within walking distance.

If you want to go out for the day, you've got a lot within half an hour. The Shropshire Union Canal is close by for walks or boat trips. Weston Park is about 20 minutes away. For something bigger, places like the Ironbridge Gorge or Cosford's Aerospace Museum are about a 25-minute drive. Alton Towers is just over half an hour.

Facilities: there's a woodburning stove, TV, WiFi, washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. Sorry, no pets.
