Shires Stable
This is Shires Stable. It's on our farm in Adbaston.
It's a converted stable block, so it's got a brick floor in the main living area. The floor can be a bit cool underfoot, so you might want slippers. There's underfloor heating but it's set on a timer. The stairs up to the bedrooms are quite steep and narrow, just so you know.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. You get a private bit of garden with a patio and a barbecue.
Being a farm, you'll hear farm noises. Tractors in the morning, sometimes the cows. You're welcome to walk around and see the animals. There's a little stream in the wood you can picnic by.
The nearest shop is in Woore, about six miles away. There's a Co-op there. The nearest pubs are the Foxhound in Adbaston or the Badger in Woore, both do food.
If you're driving out, you've got a lot within about half an hour. The Ironbridge Gorge Museums are good. Cosford's RAF Museum is about 25 minutes. Market Drayton has the canal. For proper walks, The Shropshire Hills are about 30 minutes west.
In terms of what's here, it's all listed. Washing machine, TV, WiFi, parking right outside. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
