Shore View is in Portree, on the Isle of Skye. It's a bungalow in a quiet part of town called Bayfield. The name is accurate, you get a very good view over Portree Bay and out to the Cuillin hills from the front.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. Nothing flash, just a solid holiday home.
The big thing is the location. You're about 20 yards from the water's edge for coastal walks. A shop and a pub are 200 yards away. A restaurant is even closer, about 100 yards.
Portree town centre is a five-minute walk for everything else, supermarkets, more places to eat, boat trips. There's a swimming pool and a climbing wall there too. The Aros centre has a cinema and puts on shows.
If you want to explore, you can get to a lot of the island's main things within half an hour. The Old Man of Storr is about 15 minutes north. The Fairy Pools and Talisker Distillery are roughly 30 minutes drive. Dunvegan Castle is about 40 minutes.
For facilities, it's got a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
