Cornucopia
Cornucopia is on the harbour in Portree. It's part of an old mill that was converted into three cottages. It looks right out to sea, over the water towards Raasay.
It's a 4 Star place, sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. I keep it clean and comfortable. It feels more like a proper home than a holiday let, which I like. You can bring one dog.
You're about five minutes' walk from Portree centre. There's a Co-op, some good restaurants, and a few pubs. The view from the front room is the main thing, really. You can sit and watch the boats coming in and out of the harbour.
The kitchen is open plan with the living area. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
From there, you can get to most places on Skye fairly easily. The Old Man of Storr is a 20-minute drive. The Quiraing is about 45 minutes. For a good walk from the door, you can follow the coast path out of town.
