Fleet Cottage is in Portree, which is on the Isle of Skye. It's a detached crofter's cottage, built around 1850. It's been restored but it's not a new build.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs inside are standard.
The living room and kitchen are upstairs. That's so you get the view. You look out over Loch Portree to the Cuillin mountains. It's a good view.
The garden is terraced. There's a path down to it from the cottage that is quite steep. The garden is right by the water.
You're about five minutes walk from the centre of Portree. There are shops and places to eat there. The cottage is quiet but you're not isolated.
For walks, you've got the coast right there. The Walkhighlands Skye page has good routes. The National Trust for Scotland looks after some areas nearby too. For a drive, the Old Man of Storr is about 15 minutes away. Dunvegan Castle is about half an hour.
Facilities: it's got a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
