The Old Dairy
Set in over 100 acres of farmland, on a mixed working farm, The Old Dairy offers comfortable holiday accommodation, ideal for couples looking for a relaxing break in the countryside. Located between Malpas in Cheshire and Whitchurch in Shropshire, it is the ideal base from which to enjoy the delights of both of these beautiful counties as well as being close to the border with North Wales. This former dairy, which is attached to the main farm house, has been converted into a comfortable, studio style, holiday home which offers plenty of space for two to enjoy. There is a large L-shaped living room which also serves as the bedroom with king sized bed, as well as plenty of living space in which to relax and unwind. There is a separate kitchen and shower room. As all the accommodation is on the ground floor, it is ideal for people who are less mobile. The Old Dairy has its own patio/seating area as well as parking. There are some excellent walks in the area, and there is direct access from the grounds onto Marches Way and the Sandstone Trail is nearby. For avid cyclists, the regional cycleway passes through the village. The small village of No Man’s Heath, which has a local dining pub and a well-stocked village shop is just 2 miles from Malpas which offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as monthly farmers’ and crafts market. Places of interest nearby include 19th century Cholmondeley Castle and Gardens, Nantwich, Chester and Wrexham . Visitors who enjoy horse racing can choose to visit either Chester races or Bangor-on-Dee . Train station at Whitchurch, 6 miles. Shop ½ mile, pub ¾ mile, restaurant 2 miles.
