Ashwood House can be found in the suburb of Hoole, just over a mile from the centre of Chester. Benefitting from off road parking and a secure enclosed garden it makes a wonderful base from which to relax and explore away from the hustle and bustle.

You can amble along the old city walls, stroll beside the River Dee, visit the Roman Amphitheatre, or even take a boat trip.
Outside the city within a 30-minute drive you’ll be spoilt for choice. There’s the mighty Beeston Castle, Delamere Forest and Wild Shore Delamere, the stunning Cholmondeley Castle Gardens, Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre, Bolesworth Castle which annually plays host for CarFest North, and for those with kids ‘The Crocky Trail’. If golf is more your game, there’s plenty around including the exclusive Carden Park Golf Course and Spa. Finally with North Wales also within comfortable striking distance, Ashwood House really does make a perfect all year-round destination.
